Healthy Meatloaf Source: Kitchen Konnection - Alice Brown
1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef 1 egg, or egg substitute 1 medium onion, chopped 1 small green pepper, chopped 1 tablespoon dried parsley 3/4 cup finely chopped celery 3/4 cup oatmeal -- uncooked 3/4 cup milk -- your choice 1/2 cup catsup 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1 clove garlic -- pressed 1/8 teaspoon salt -- optional 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Place the mixture in a loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. Serves 8. Per serving: Cal. 230, Fat 11gm. |
