Creamed Ham
1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups milk salt, pepper to taste Leftover ham, diced Canned biscuits
1. Make a basic white sauce, by melting butter in a a saucepot. Stir in the flour until smooth-- stir and cook over medium heat for about a minute.
2. Whisk in milk until smooth. Then you can just stir with a wooden spoon until the sauce thickens.
3. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over warm, opened biscuits. This is very easy to make and great comfort food for a cold Winter evening. (Another good item to use instead of leftover ham is leftover chicken, diced)
