These might not sound appealing, but they are SO GOOD and buttery.
1 large bag carrot slices Water to cover them in pot 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter Flour Milk
Cook carrot slices in water until tender. Use a slotted spoon and scoop out carrots and place in another bowl. Leave water that you cooked the carrots in on low heat. Put stick of butter in and melt butter. In a small cup or bowl, make a thickener with the milk and flour beating out all lumps. Slowly stir into the hot water mixture. When this has made a "gravy" thickened as you like it, add the carrots back to the "gravy" mixture. Heat through and serve.
