Chocolate Chip Berry Shortcake (using biscuit mix)

2 cups all-purpose biscuit baking mix
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup Hershey's Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Sweetened whipped cream
4 (1 quart) cups fresh strawberries, sliced and sweetened

Heat oven to 375F. Grease 8-inch round baking pan.

In medium bowl, stir together baking mix and sugar.

In second bowl, slightly beat egg; blend in milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened (batter may be lumpy). Stir in small chocolate chips. Spread batter into prepared pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.

Place on serving plate. Cut into wedges; top with sweetened whipped cream and strawberries.
