Ice Cream Floats
rec.food.recipes/Cyndal/1994
Serves 1

In a large parfait glass(or a large, tall drinking glass), drop in 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream or vanilla-flavored frozen yogurt(or even that vanilla-flavored sugarless ice cream that is out now). Don't use sherbet...it doesn't taste right with soda in it.

Next, pour in enough of your favorite soda(regular or sugarfree, and NOT seltzer!!!) to fill the glass. Do this SLOWLY as the ice cream rises and the fizz does too. :) Ginger ale doesn't work too well with this either.

Insert straw, and grab a spoon. Sip, and enjoy the ice cream once the soda is gone. You've just had your first root beer, orange, grape, etc float.
