Spicy Strawberry Bread
(makes 2 loaves)

2 cups strawberries, sliced or chopped
3 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 beaten eggs
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 cup chopped nuts

Sift together flour, sugar, salt, soda, and spices in large mixing bowl.

In a smaller bowl, mix eggs and oil. Gradually add egg mixture into flour mixture, alternately with strawberries. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into two greased and floured loaf pans.

Bake in 350 degree oven 45-50 minutes.
