Garlic-Spinach Dip
1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed 1 (8 oz) package reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel) 1/3 cup fat free skim or 1% low fat milk 1 /4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp seasoned salt Dash bottled hot pepper sauce Toasted pita wedges or tortilla chips Cracked black pepper (optional)
In a blender container or food processor bowl combine drained spinach, cream cheese, fat free skim or 1% lowfat milk, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and hot pepper sauce. Cover and blend or process until smooth. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with toasted pita wedges or tortilla chips.
