Yummy Hummus Spread with Homemade Tahini

Combine in a blender the first four ingredients:
1/4 cup tahini (See recipe below)
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 to 1/2 cup warm water
1 garlic clove
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
Salt and pepper to taste

Start blender and add beans slowly through the hole in the blender lid. Blend until smooth. Put hummus in the refrigerator to chill several hours or overnight.

Tahini
4 cups sesame seeds
1/3 cup olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 F degrees. Spread out seeds on baking sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Process seeds and oil in blender until smooth.

Wheat wafers
Pepper flavored crackers
Lavash
