Maple Apple Crisp

Spread in 9x9 glass shallow baking dish:
4 cups of peeled and thinly sliced Cortland apples

In a bowl, mix together:
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
Pour mixture over apples

Topping:
Work with pas try blender in a bowl:
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup softened butter
Sprinkle over apples.

Bake 40 minutes at 350F. Serve warm.
