Quick Caramel Dumplings (using refrigerated biscuits)
4 tablespoons butter OR margarine 3 cups brown sugar 3 cups hot water 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 can (10 biscuits) refrigerated biscuits
In a saucepan, boil butter, brown sugar and water for 3 minutes; add vanilla.
Cut each biscuit into fourths and drop into boiling mixture. Cover tightly; reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
