Butterklosse (Butter Dumplings) From Women's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery
2 Tablespoons butter 2 eggs 6 Tablespoons flour 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream butter until soft. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour and salt.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into simmering soup and simmer, covered, for 8 minutes.
Makes 3 to 4 servings
