Bestest Brownies

1 stick butter (1/2 cup.), softened
1 cup sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 can (1 cup) Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Combine all together and spread in a 9x13-inch greased baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Optional: when cooled, top with:
1 1/3 cups sugar
6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Beat until melted.
