Texas Hash
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 2 cups chopped onions 2 cups chopped green peppers 1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 (14-1/2 to 16-ounce) can tomatoes, chopped 3 cups cooked rice Cook beef, onions, green peppers, chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic powder until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, stirring frequently to crumble meat. Add tomatoes and rice. Spoon into buttered 2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
