HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE SHERBETSource: Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt by Mable HoffmanMakes about 1 quart A delightful chocolate flavor with a pleasing sherbet texture. 1 (5.5-oz.) can chocolate-flavored syrup 1/2 cup sugar 2 1/2 cups milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract In a medium bowl, combine chocolate-flavored syrup, sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir until sugar dissolves. Pour into ice-cream canister. Freeze in ice-cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions.
