This recipe is awesome & sooooo easy to make. I didn't have any cheesecloth so I used a fine-strain colander & it still came out perfectly. I also didn't have any lemon peel/juice but the taste is amazing without it… I can't imagine it tasting any better. Now I don't have to travel 4 hours to Gatlinburg, TN for authentic, delicious homemade syrups... I can make them at home just as well.
