EASY OVEN BROWNED POTATOES
All my cooking life I said I would NEVER use canned potatoes.....lol this goes to show "NEVER SAY NEVER" :) This is so quick and easy and good :)
6 cans (whole) white potatoes, drained 1 packet onion soup mix* (dry flavor of your choice) 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted (butter does taste best) garlic powder pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl place canned potatoes (I cut the larger ones in half), onion soup mix, sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper to suit you taste. Pour on melted butter and toss to evenly coat potatoes. Place in a greased baking dish.
Bake at 350 until crisp and nicely browned.
*This also works wonderfully with the dry ranch party mix in place of the onion soup.
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM I KID YOU NOT :) I first had these at a church dinner and never guessed they were canned potatoes. Nancy (Mammy_Ohio)
