Individual Breakfast Strata

8 slices of bread (cut off crusts)
1 lb bacon, cooked and drained
1 lb pork sausage, cooked and drained
1 qt milk
8 eggs
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1 lb (2 cups) grated sharp cheddar cheese

Grease (or spray) 8 small oven ramekins. Cube bread and divide between the oven dishes. Absorb all the excess grease from both the bacon and sausage and break into small pieces. Divide between the oven dishes and sprinkle the cheese over each. Beat eggs, milk, Worchestershire sauce and mustard and pour over other ingredients.

Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bring to room temperature. Bake a 350° for 30-40 minutes.

Note: This dish can be frozen. The secret is to take it out the night before, thaw in the refrigerator, and bring to room temperature before baking.

Cooking time: Set oven to 350°. Cooking time 30-40 minutes in a regular oven. (20 minutes in a convection oven.)
