My family loves this recipe & so do I. It is EXTRA EASY to make.
EASY CHOCOLATE GRAVY
2 cups sugar
5 heaping Tbsp. flour
3 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
dash of salt
2 cans evaporated milk
2 cans water
Mix dry ingredients together well with wire whisk. Add milk and water. Mix well.
Turn stove to medium heat and cook gravy stirring often until thick as you like.
Serve with homemade buttermilk biscuits.
Tips: Taste gravy mixture after it warms up to make sure the salt has taken the bitter taste from the cocoa.
Recipe can be halved if desired, use 3 heaping Tbsp. of flour and half of all other ingredients.
