MIRRO CHEESE STRAWS
1 cup flour, sifted 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese 2 tbsp cold water
Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Cut in butter and cheese as for pie crust, using a pastry blender or two knives. Add water and mix well.
Using star plate, make cheese straws by holding press in semi-horizontal position and form dough in strips on ungreased cookie sheets. Cut in desired lengths.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
