This is VERY easy and tasty as well. It can be kept on hand, and used as needed, perfect of the Holidays or anytime.

CREAM CHEESE AND DRIED BEEF SPREAD

1 package dried beef
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
Chopped kalamata olives 1 Tbsp (optional)
White pepper to taste

Soften cream cheese in microwave about 15 sec.
Cut dried beef with scissors into small pieces, about 1/4 inch.
Add beef to cheese.
Chop olives, add to cheese.
Grind several rounds of white pepper into cheese mixture.
If using pre-ground, it should be less than a pinch.

Mix all well, serve at room temperature.

Note: chopped pickles, or drained pickle relish may be substituted for olives.
