GLADYS, I HAVE ITALIAN FRIENDS THAT MAKE BAGNA DURING THE YEAR, BUT ALWAYS FOR NEW YEARS. THEIRS IS MADE WITH BUTTER, ANCHOVIES, LOTS OF GARLIC AND CREAM. THEY MAKE IT IN AN ELECTRIC SKILLET. SOMETIMES MORE THAN ONE SKILLET OF BAGNA. DEPENDING ON HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE AT THE PARTY. THEY USUALLY USE BREAD, CABBAGE, CELERY AND SOMETIMES CAULIFLOWER FOR DIPPING. WE LOVE IT. EVERYBOD, OLD AND YOUNG GATHERS AROUND THE SKILLETS AND WE HAVE THE BEST TIME.
