Ham Sandwiches From Kitchen Kapers cookbook
16 slices bread with crusts trimmed off 6 eggs 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1 teaspoon salt 3 cups milk 8 slices ham 8 slices cheese Special K Cereal, slightly crushed
Day before serving: Butter slices of the bread and place 8 of them in a buttered casserole dish. Beat eggs with mustard, salt and milk. Place ham and cheese slices on bread slices. Top with remaining 8 slices of buttered bread (butter side up) Pour egg mixture over top of bread, cover and chill for 24 hours.
Preheat oven to 350.
Uncover pan and sprinkle with Special K cereal.
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Serves 8.
