Beer Dressing for Potato Salad This recipe comes from the Concert in Dining cookbook
1/2 cup chopped onion 3 Tablespoons salad oil 2 Tablespoons flour 1 1/2 teaspoons salt pepper 2 Tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 cups beer 1/4 cup vinegar
Saute onions 10 minutes in oil;addd flour, salt, pepper and sugar. Stir in beer and vinegar, stirring constantly to boiling point. Cook over low heat 5 minutes. Cool and pour over potato salad.
