I've been making this for years. Someone gave the recipe to me, but I don't know the name of the book or the author. Sorry.
Pon Pon Chicken
2 cups steamed, boiled or gently simmered chicken, shredded Lettuce leaves to cover serving platter 1 tablespoon chopped scallion 1 teaspoon or more chopped garlic 1 1/2 teaspoons finely choped ginger 3 tablespoons well-stired sesame paste (tahini) 1 1/2 tablespoons dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon white vinegar, preferably rice vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (optional) salt to taste 1 tablespoon chili paste with garlic 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Place the chicken on the lettuce leaves, arrranged on a serving dish.
Blend the remaining ingredients and pour the sauce over the chicken.
