Tequila Honey Shrimp

2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon butter
2 cloves garlic, minced (or more, to taste)
1 1/2 pounds peeled and deveined medium shrimp
2 tablespoons honey
2 to 3 tablespoons tequila
crushed red pepper to taste (optional)

Heat the oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and saute for 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.

Add the honey and tequila and cook for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
