BRUNCH TOAST
2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup milk 1/2 cup cooked ham, chopped 1 (3 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1 tbsp green onion, chopped sliced bread, toasted cheddar cheese slices
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add in flour and salt; stir until smooth and well mixed, do not brown. Turn heat to medium and gradually stir in milk. Continue to stir until mixture thickens.
Stir in ham, mushroom and onion. Continue cooking 5 minutes.
For each serving place slices of cheese over toast.
Broil until cheese melts, then spoon sauce over each slice.
