FLANK STEAK WITH HERB MARINADE Source:

1 (2 1/2 pound) flank steak
HERB MARINADE: 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 green onions, including some tender green tops, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
To make marinade, in a small bowl or cup, stir together all ingredients.
Place steak in shallow dish and pour marinade over the top. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator 2 to 3 hours. Remove 30 minutes before cooking.
Preheat broiler. Remove meat from marinade. Place on an oiled broiler pan and broil, turning once, 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Do not overcook.
Thinly slice on the diagonal and arrange on a warmed platter. Serve immediately.
