CHOCOLATE CHIP TWINKLES

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 egg yolk, well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup coconut
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar. Blend in egg then vanilla and set aside.

Combine dry ingredients and blend into butter mixture.

Stir in coconut and chocolate chips. Shape into balls about the size of a walnut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and slightly flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.

Bake at 375 for 12 minutes.

Makes 4 dozen cookies
