DIPS FOR STRAWBERRIES

QUICK RUM DIP
Makes 1 cup

1/2 pint vanilla ice cream
2 Tablespoons white rum
1/2 teaspoon almond extract, optional

In chilled bowl with chilled beaters or wooden spoon beat ice cream to consistency of whipped cream. Fold in rum and, if desired, almond extract. Serve immediately.

GINGERED YOGURT DIP
Makes 1 cup

1 Tablespoon chopped drystallized ginger
1 cup vanilla yogurt

Stir ginger into yogurt.

ORANGE-SUGAR DIP

1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
thin orange slice, optional
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Place liqueur in shallow bowl; float orange slice on liqueur for garnish if desired. Place confectioners' sugar in another shallow bowl. Holding stem, dip each berry in liqueur, then in confectioners' sugar.
