PASTA E FAGIOLI
8 ounces ditalini 1 onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves 1/2 pound cooked ham or prosciutto, chopped 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes 2 cups ham broth 1 Tbsp oregano 1 Tbsp basil 2 Tbsp Italian parsley 8 oz white beans, cooked grated parmesan cheese
Cook pasta in 3 quarts boiling water.
Saute diced onion, garlic, and diced ham in 2 tablespoons olive oil until onion starts to brown.
Add tomatoes, ham broth, oregano, basil, parsley, salt, pepper, and a little sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Add beans and drained cooked pasta. Heat through and serve with Parmesan on top.
