Fried Cabbage
1 head cabbage, shredded 6 strips bacon 1 tablespoon butter Pinch of salt
Place cabbage in pot of water with salt and bring to boil. When at boil remove from heat and drain.
In a skillet fry bacon. Remove cooked bacon from the skillet and crumble; set aside.
Add the butter to the bacon drippings in the skillet and fry the drained cabbage.
Add the crumbled bacon and simmer 5 minutes.
