SPICED WALNUTS
1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon cloves 1/2 cup water 2 cups Diamond Walnuts, halves or large pieces
Boil sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and water to 236 degrees F on candy thermometer (soft ball stage).
Remove from heat and add walnuts. Stir until creamy.
Turn out on waxed paper; separate walnuts, using two forks.
