SAUSAGE AND HERB DRESSING
2 tablespoons butter 6 ounces link pork sausage, chopped 2 cups chopped onion 1 cup chopped celery 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 can (14.5 ounces) chicken broth 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning 1 teaspoon ground sage 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 loaf (1 pound) French bread, cubed 3/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned.
Add onion, celery, and garlic; cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in chicken broth, parsley, poultry seasoning, sage, and black pepper. Remove from heat.
Stir in bread cubes and green onion. Spoon into prepared baking dish.
Bake, covered, for 30 minutes; remove cover and bake 5 minutes longer.
