Three Cheese Chicken Bake
8 oz lasagna noodles 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper 3 tbsp butter 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1 (6 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1/2 cup chopped pimento 1/3 cup milk 1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed 1 1/2 cups cream style cottage cheese 2 cups diced, cooked chicken 2 cups shredded American cheese (for top) 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (for top)
Cook noodles in boiling, salted water; drain.
Cook onion and bell pepper in butter or margarine till tender.
Stir in soup, mushrooms, pimento, milk and basil.
Lay half the noodles in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish; top with half each of the sauce, cottage cheese, chicken and cottage cheese. Repeat layers.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
Top with American and parmesan cheeses; bake 2 minutes more.
