HERITAGE CHEESE SPREAD
Here's a spread to try.
1 cup cooked or canned garbanzo beans, drained 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened 5 ounces sour cream 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup buttermilk 1 ounce prepared horseradish 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon paprika 2 teaspoons salt 1 dash brown ale
In food processor with steel blade, grind garbanzo beans with cheddar cheese.
Transfer to mixing bowl and mix in cream cheese, sour cream and butter; beat until smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients. Beat until cheese has a well-mixed and spreadable consistency. Chill until serving time.
