TOMATO PATTIES
8 medium tomatoes, peeled and mashed 2 1/2 cups cracker crumbs 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Peel and mash tomatoes. Add remaining ingredients.
Heat oil in a skillet. Drop tomato by spoonfuls into hot skillet and fry like pancakes.
Serve with pancake syrup if desired.
