SAVORY OLIVE NUT BREADDelicious topped with sweet butter or a mild cheese spread. For a quick appetizer, bake as mini loaves and top with a flavored cream cheese. 5 cups flour 2/3 cup sugar 2 1/2 tbsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground savory 2 cups milk 2 eggs 2 cups sliced pimiento-stuffed green olives 2 cups walnut pieces 1/4 cup chopped pimiento Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 2 loaf pans. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and savory. Beat milk and eggs together until well blended. Stir egg mixture into dry mixture until just blended. Stir in olives, walnuts, and pimiento. Divide batter into prepared loaf pans. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in pans for 5 minutes, then remove and cool completely.
