SALMON LOAF HORS D'OEUVRES1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can sockeye salmon, drained 1 medium onion, minced Juice of 1 lemon 1 teaspoon horseradish 1 teaspoon liquid smokeSalt (to taste) TO SERVE:1/2 cup chopped parsley 3 to 4 ounces chopped pecans toast rounds Combine cream cheese, salmon, onion, lemon juice, horseradish, liquid smoke, and salt to taste. Mix together thoroughly and refrigerate until firm. TO SERVE:Roll in chopped parsley and pecans and place on serving dish surrounded with toast rounds. Adapted from unknown source
