ASPARAGUS HORS D' OEUVRES1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 ounces bleu cheese, softened
1 egg
20 slices white bread, crust removed, rolled flat
1 can
asparagus, drained
Melted butter
Mix together the cream cheese, bleu cheese, and egg until thoroughly blended. Spread cheese mixture on flattened bread.
Put slice of asparagus on each piece of bread. Roll bread jelly roll style. Dip in melted butter. Place on
cookie sheet. Freeze.
WHEN READY TO BAKE:Remove from freezer about 20 or 30 minutes before serving. Cut each roll into quarters at once, it's easier to cut while frozen.
Bake in a 400 degree F oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
