HOMEMADE OAT BRAN GRANOLA8 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups
unprocessed oat bran1/2 cup walnut pieces
1/2 cup
raw sunflower seeds1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup honey
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups
golden raisins1 to 2 cups
puffed milletPreheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large bowl combine the oats, oat bran, walnut pieces and sunflower seeds; set aside.
In a small saucepan heat the oil, honey and vanilla stirring until bubbly. Thoroughly mix the liquids with the oat mixture. Divide between 2 rimmed cookie sheets.
Bake at 325 degrees 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Cool well.
When completely cool add the raisins and millet.
Makes about 16 cups
