Recipe(tried): Cherry-Chocolate Mallow Cake (using cake mix)

CHERRY-CHOCOLATE MALLOW CAKE

1 (10 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows
1 (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix
ingredients to make cake mix
1(20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
powdered sugar or chocolate frosting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with marshmallows.

Mix chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Pour over marshmallows.

Combine cherry pie filling and dry cherry jello. Spread over top of cake batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Dust top of cake with powdered sugar or use favorite chocolate frosting.

A co-worker of my mother's prepared this cake for coffee break one day. Baked it for a football party. The fans loved the cake and our team's win. This cake is very moist. Enjoy!
