NissenbergFrom: Becca Weiner, age 8 1 /2 Makes 6 tacos 2 cups frozen, precooked vegetarian ground patty crumbles 3/4 cup water 1 packet taco seasoning mix 6 soft tortillas, tacos, or pita bread 1/4 cup salsa Optional Toppings: chopped olives, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, diced cucumbers, green onions, shredded cheese, chopped red and green peppers In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the ground patty crumbles, water, and taco seasoning mix. Heat uncovered for 2-3 minutes until all the water evaporates. Serve on tortillas, tacos, or pita bread. Add salsa and toppings as desired.
