ISO: Potato & Bacon Soup

I am going to make the Potato & Bacon soup but I am a bit confused as to the quantities of ingredients.

How many potatoes would make 8 Cups?
1 medium potato = about 1 cup

How many Kilo's or rashersake 1/2 pound?
8-12 slices bacon

Is Chicken Broth the same as Chicken Stock?
Yes

How many litres/mls makes 3 cans of stock?
1.3 liters

What does "Condensed" cream of chicken soup mean?
condensed cream of chicken soup is a thick chicken soup that comes canned (Campbell's is one of the brands). Water or milk is added when preparing it to make it consistency of a cream soup. Here is a recipe for a substitute (click here) but it would be an experiment to use it in the crock pot recipe you want to make.

Sorry I sound a bit silly but I'm new at making soup and am not used to these measurements.
