BLUEBERRY SOUR CREAM WAFFLES
1 1/3 cups unsifted flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 Tablespoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 beaten egg 1 cup sour cream 1 cup milk 1 cup blueberries 2 teaspoons oil 1/4 cup melted butter
In a bowl combine flour, soda, salt, sugar and nutmeg thoroughly.
In another bowl combine egg, sour cream and milk. Blend egg mixture into flour mixture. Batter will be lumpy.
Mix in blueberries. With a large spoon or ladle drop onto hot greased griddle. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Turn; cook until brown. Remove from griddle. Brush each pancake with melted butter. Serve with hot syrup.
Yields 10 to 12 pancakes.
