This recipe is from Bread and Butterflies 2.
SPINACH BISQUE
3 pkgs. frozen spinach 2 cans chicken broth 2 Tablespoons chopped onion 4 Tablespoons butter 4 Tablespoons cornstarch 1/2 large jar Cheez Whiz or 8 ounces Velveeta 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 pint half and half
Cook spinach in broth. Reserve.
Saute onion in butter.
Add cornstarch and stir to blend. Add spinach mixture and broth it was cooked in. Add Cheez Whiz or Velveeta, Cheddar cheese and half and half. Heat through and serve.
