HAMBURGER TURNOVERS
1/2 cup chopped onion 2 tablespoons butter 1 pound ground beef 2 1/4 cups Bisquick, divided use 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon flavor extender (MSG), optional 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 cup tomato sauce 1/4 cup sour cream 2/3 cup cream
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Saute onion slightly in butter.
Add ground beef and cook about 2 minutes.
Stir in 1/4 cup Bisquick, salt, flavor extender, garlic salt, and sugar. Add tomato sauce and sour cream; mix well; heat.
Stir cream into the remaining 2 cups Bisquick. Beat 15 strokes. Roll around on cloth-covered board lightly dusted with Bisquick. Knead gently 10 times to smooth up.
Roll into two 10 inch squares. Cut into eight 5 inch squares. Put 1/3 cup filling on each square. Fold over; seal edges with fork. Place on baking sheet. Make slits on top. Brush with butter.
Bake 15-20 minutes.
