GOLDEN HAM BAKE3/4 cup chopped bell pepper 1/2 cup chopped onion 3/4 cup butter 4 cup Bisquick6 cups milk 3 cans (10 1/2 ounce each) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 6 to 7 cups ham cubes 3 tablespoons lemon juice FOR THE CHEESE BISCUITS:3 cups Bisquick 2 1/4 cups grated Cheddar cheese 1 cup milk 3 tablespoons -chopped pimento Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray two 13x9-inch baking dishes with nonstick cooking spray. In frying pan, saute green bell pepper and onion in butter. Blend in 1 cup Bisquick. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and soup. Bring to boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Stir in ham and lemon juice. Pour into prepared baking dishes. TO PREPARE THE CHEESE BISCUITS: Combine the remaining 3 cups Bisquick, cheese, milk, pimento and stir together until soft dough forms. Beat 20 stroke or until a stiff dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky. Divide dough in half. Roll out 1/4-inch thick. Cut out 30 biscuits. Top casseroles with biscuits and bake remaining biscuits on baking sheet 10 to 12 minutes. Bake casseroles 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 2 (13x9-inch) casseroles Serves 18 to 24 people Source: Bisquick
