SAUTEED BANANAS WITH ORANGE LIQUEUR (GUINEOS SALTEADOS CON LICOR DE CHINA)
3 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon orange liqueur 3 medium bananas, sliced in half and cut into 1-inch pieces 1 quart vanilla ice cream shredded sweetened coconut and chopped walnuts for garnish
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and orange liqueur. Add the bananas and saute until lightly golden.
Divide the banana mixture among 6 dessert bowls. Put a scoop of ice cream in each bowl. Sprinkle with coconut and walnuts. Serve immediately.
