BRIDE’S PRIDE CASSEROLE
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste) 1 lb. ground beef 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed 1 1/2 cups sliced celery 3 green onion, chopped, tops included 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, stems and pieces 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 3 oz. Chinese noodles or corn chips or potato chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 1 1/2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Heat a heavy skillet. Sprinkle salt in skillet and add ground beef. Cook, stirring until meat loses red color. Spread in prepared baking dish that.
Scatter uncooked, thawed peas, celery and green onions over the crumbled meat. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper; set aside.
Mix mushrooms and their liquid with soup. Pour over meat mixture. Crush noodles or chips and sprinkle over all.
Bake 35-45 minutes. The celery should be crisp and crunchy when done.
