TURTLE DOVE BARS
2 cups flour 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup pecan halves 2/3 cup butter 1/2 cup butterscotch chips 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat flour, 1 cup brown sugar, and butter. Press into an ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan; sprinkle with pecans.
Combine 2/3 cup butter and remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar and boil until firm ball stage is reached (242 degrees F.). Pour over dough in pan.
Bake 18-20 minutes or until caramel is bubbly.
Put butterscotch and chocolate chips on top, allow to melt slightly then swirl with a knife to marble. Cool; cut into bars.
